Created from footage shot over a decade. I hate New York is a vibrant intimate portrait of transgender artist and activists Amanda Lapore, Sophia Lamar, Chloe Dzubilo and T De Long.  Comprising of conversations on art, gender identity, activism, and personal history, discussed over archive and recent footage of performance, and everyday hussle. The film is both personal and political. It offers a compelling look at revolution and urban counterculture in a global hotspot of opportunity and hardship and questions weather queer counter culture can survive the gentrification of Urban landscapes.
