Inspired by her book FALLING Through Dance and Life, and linked to her solo performance ‘Untitled’, emilyn claid leads a workshop on letting go as an embodied process that unravels sense making, dissolves static postures and crumbles what seems a fixed normality. Using somatic movement practices as a safe frame, we will consider how letting go - physical, metaphorical and psychological - informs our living and being, undoing Western obsessions with supremacy, verticality and fixed identity.

Open to people across arts disciplines who like exploring movement and improvisation, individually and in relation, and who are attentive to queer sensibilities. Spaces limited.
