From São Paulo to Hong Kong, and Buenos Aires to Athens, queer people are looking to escape from their daily lives, through religion, yearning, petty crime or pet play. Strap in for strange and beautiful tales of hot asphalt, missing parrots, post-hookup scooter rides and catboy misadventures. These dreams can't help but intersect with the harsh realities of climate change, poverty, disability and police violence in our late-stage capitalist world and they must find solace in each other and build communities that last.
